Intel have finally released a core I7 NUC. The Intel NUC5i7RYH is the top of the range Intel NUC, the very first NUC to be build around a core I 7 processor. The amount of power offered in comparison to the size of this system is truly amazing. Graphics are handled by the built in Intel Iris graphics 6100 chipset, capable of supporting OpenCL 2.0 and DirectX 11.2,& 4k. The video engine can also decode H.265. Graphics performance for an integrated chipset is excellent, and equivalent to an entry level dedicated card. The Intel NUC5i7RYH features a replaceable lid allowing the look of the system to be customized. The system can run a m.2 solid state drive, or a standard 2.5″ drive (or both) allow for flexible configurations to match your requirements. 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth,and 7.1 surround sound are all included covering all bases for a home theatre PC.
