BLUETOOTH MODULE - HC05
Bluetooth Transceiver HC-05 uses CSR chipset with bluetooth V2.0 protocol standards. It comes with a default
baud rate of 9600. HC-05 is a master (default) and slave mode transceiver, compared to HC-06 which is a slave
only mode. You can pair HC-05 with android phones or computers for wireless communication.
Getting started with the HC-05 is as easy as connecting it up to your microcontroller, configuring it using
simple AT commands, and then pairing it with other Bluetooth devices. The HC-05 supports both 3.3V and
5V logic.
The main difference between HC-05 and HC-06 is that HC-05 is a master/slave module while HC-06 is a
slave module, meaning HC-05 can pair with other bluetooth modules but HC-06 can only be paired and
cannot issue a pair command.
NOTE: THIS MODULE DOES NOT SUPPORT IOS.
