MP-013-0004 is a metal-in static shielding bag measuring 127mm (5’’) x 203.2mm (8’’). The 013-0004 is a static shielding Zip-lock Bag constructed in four layers, consisting of a static dissipative polyester outer layer and a static dissipative polyethylene inner layer with a center metallized shield layer. It is manufactured from industry approved polyester and polyethylene laminates. The polyester dielectric works with the metal layer to provide a Faraday effects and the metal layer preventing penetration from damaging electrostatic fields. The specially processed polyethylene keeps tribo charging to a minimum. It is suitable for packing electronic products which are sensitive to static, PCBs, IC integrated circuit, CD driver and HD.
